Quest'opera rappresenta a pieno l'arte della Radchenko, che con il suo stile, si trova a metà tra questi personaggi simbolo dell'arte contemporanea, l'esponente di spicco Warhol e il genio ribelle Basquiat. Il primo, trova nell'oggetto di consumo la sua espressione più vera per rappresentare la società moderna e fa diventare l'arte “popolare”, una forma espressiva che andava “consumata” come qualsiasi oggetto da banco. Basquiat invece, si esprime in un primitivismo che potremmo chiamare neo espressionismo. Legati dall'arte che li ha uniti in un sodalizio culturale, sono riconosciuti come indiscussi capostipiti della cultura moderna, pur nelle loro grandi differenze caratteriali ed espressive. Molti gli elementi di unione tra i due, un guantone da Box, rimanda alle fotografie del grande maestro Halsband, che ne fece un ritratto come se si stessero sfidando in un match, nessun vincitore qui, entrambi trionfano ineguagliati, nella scena artistica mondiale. La Radchenko, attraversa lo spazio ed il tempo, immortalandoli nel mondo di oggi. Un dittico di grandi dimensioni, rivive negli sguardi degli artisti, durante la pandemia del nostro tempo. I protagonisti dell'opera infatti, indossano una mascherina, oggetto simbolo dell'epidemia che sta affliggendo il nostro mondo, e l'osservatore si interroga su quello che, i due artisti direbbero se si trovassero ad affrontare questa situazione di portata mondiale. Un enigma aperto che lascia spazio a riflessioni contemporanee.

This work fully represents Radchenko's art. With her style, she is somewhere between these symbolic figures of contemporary art, the leading exponent Warhol and the rebellious genius Basquiat. The former, finds in the consumer object his truest expression to represent modern society and makes art 'popular', a form of expression that is 'consumed' like any over-the-counter object. Basquiat, on the other hand, expresses himself in a primitivism that we could call neo-expressionism. Linked by the art that united them in a cultural association, they are recognised as the undisputed progenitors of modern culture, despite their great character and expressive differences. There are many unifying elements between the two, a boxing glove, harking back to the photographs of the great master Halsband, who made a portrait of them as if they were challenging each other in a match, no winner here, both triumphs unequalled on the world art scene. Radchenko, crosses space and time, immortalising them in today's world. A diptych of large dimensions, it relives in the gazes of the artists, during the pandemic of our time. In fact, the protagonists of the work wear a mask, an object that symbolises the epidemic that is afflicting our world, and the observer wonders what the two artists would say if they were confronted with this worldwide situation. An open enigma that leaves room for contemporary reflections.
